Reuse cardboard boxes
FOUR HUNDRED TWO AND TWENTY MILLION – that's how many tons of packaging material are in circulation around the world right now. Germany alone was responsible for 18.9 million tons of packaging material in 2018.
Huge amounts of raw materials such as energy and water are consumed to produce packaging so the damage to the environment is becoming more and more drastic.
As an advertising material service provider we regularly send merchandising products to our customers. For even more sustainability GBC uses almost exclusively secondhand packaging like reused cartons in good condition.
Each reuse of a package saves the production of a new one
Even broken and damaged cardboard boxes do not simply end up in the trash can at our company.
With the help of the shredding machine in our in-house warehouse we process these into filling material which makes them recyclable. Cartons are therefore not simply disposed of by us but are stored and used sustainably.
Our sustainability concept
Our team reduces the consumption of polybags, minimizes packaging, works paperless and uses ecological inks in our print shop which are sourced from partners in the region.
We obtain electricity from the sun in Rheinhessen via our solar plants and to power our forklifts in the warehouse as well as the electric cars in our fleet. We use our sustainable performance indicator system to monitor the effectiveness of our measures.
We live sustainability in all areas and so that we continue to follow the green path, we have had our environmental management ISO 14001 certified.

So oft wie möglich versenden wir Pakete in Kartons die schon einmal im Einsatz waren. Das schaut nicht immer besonders toll aus, ist aber gelebte Nachhaltigkeit.
Wir trauen uns einfach mal. Also nicht wundern wenn Ihr Paket "gebraucht" ausschaut. Der Inhalt ist trotzdem hervorragend verpackt und bestens geschützt.
